Location was very good. It was very beautiful surrounded by tea garden. However, the service was very poor and slow. Buggy, house-keeping were not coming. And room was not as good as we expected. The window couldn't be closed due to bad construction quality. We asked for closing it and the weather was very cold outside. One maintainence guy came and tried to close it but he couldn't. He said that he will fix it in the next morning in this cold winter weather! And they said that changing room is not possible. It was the worst service I had among the hotels in the entire India.

Thanks to aayatana for a wonderful family stay they ensured for us. We had a pleasant experience staying at this amazing property. The property is located in deep natural beauty of tea estates and gave us unique experience!! It is very well maintained, comfortable. Staff is very polite, prompt and gave an exceptional service to make our stay comfortable. Food is delicious and all the meals served were yumm. I would surely recommend my friends to visit and enjoy the real Ooty there!! There are activities for kids too for good tine pass and fun.

Food is exceptionally good and special thanks to the chefs who took an extra effort to provide such a elaborate spread. I recently stayed at this resort in Ooty and had a mixed experience. When I booked, I was told that the jacuzzi in my pool villa would be temperature controlled, which was a major selling point for me. However, upon arriving and attempting to use it, I discovered that it was not temperature controlled, which was a significant disappointment given the chilly weather in Ooty. I promptly informed the reception about the issue, and they assured me they would address it. Unfortunately, despite their promises, the temperature control problem was not resolved during my stay, making the jacuzzi unusable in the cold conditions. Furthermore, I was disheartened by the resort's response when I asked for a refund of the price difference between the pool villa and a regular cottage due to the inconvenience. They declined my request, which left me feeling undervalued as a guest. In addition, I want to caution future guests considering the jacuzzi villa at this resort. I opted for the jacuzzi villa, which came at an additional cost of 5200 rupees, expecting the main difference to be the inclusion of a jacuzzi. However, during my stay, I discovered that the jacuzzi was not temperature controlled as promised, rendering it unusable in the cold Ooty weather. Given that the only notable distinction between the rooms was the jacuzzi, I would advise potential guests to carefully assess whether this added expense is justified, especially if the temperature control feature is essential to your enjoyment. Based on my experience, the value of the jacuzzi villa did not align with the price difference, and I would recommend considering other room options or confirming the functionality of the amenities before booking.

Beautiful location, beautiful rooms. It is still under construction as spa and bar was not available. The pool was not heated yet which they are working on. Once everything is ready, this will be one of the most beautiful places in Ooty to stay and enjoy. The place is kids friendly, offer a small trek to the nearby hill, option to enjoy bonfire with friends and family. Love it!

Ayantana, Ooty has been beyond expectations. If you would want to experience an amazing stay, view and staff this is the place that you need to visit. I would specially want to mention an unforgettable experience with the staff who would go above and beyond out of their way for their guests to feel special. Mr Ram, the Executive Chef at Tycoons would always greet us with a special greeting and made small chats everytime we walked into the restaurant. He went out of his way to always ask is there anything he can make for us apart from the menu which is not very usual with chefs that I have come across and also to give you the personal touch in his food. A special mention to waitor Ganesh who greeted us with an eversmiling face and made sure we needed everything at our table and checking if everything was ok with the food. Mr. Akhil, Activity Coordinator and Naturalist, an amazing personality who loves animals took us around places near the property that were beautiful and mesmerizing. Overall, I had a great experience with the Ayatana, Ooty staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to celebrate our anniversary.
